Extra Credit Option: Students must write, after watching the film Yemanjá (see the “Films” folder on the Course Content page of this website) an extra credit report of about 2 double-spaced pages or more in font .12 These double spaced pages will not include a title page. No research is necessary here. The report must be uploaded on the appropriate “Assignment Dropbox” link. The report will: 1) present the main argument developed by the filmmakers in this film, AND 2) briefly discuss the film’s references to the cultural process called “syncretism.” This extra credit assignment must be submitted by11:59pm on 07-17-2016. No assignment will be accepted late. Your answer must clearly separate numeral 1 from numeral 2 in the question above.
