It’s been over ten years since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. One of the after-effects was much reporting, hearings, discussions, and legislation by decision makers in an attempt to help ensure that such future events would not result in a similar amount of chaos when it came to recovery and restoration efforts.
The DHS team lead has asked everyone to review the NIPP 2013 document and provide at least three (3) recommendations regarding updates, changes, modifications, additions, deletions, etc. that you would propose for potential inclusion into what would become a “new” NIPP 2018 document. Identify your three (or more) recommendations and provide an accompanying explanation/rationale for each recommendation.
