- Herodotus says that people prefer the customs of their own country over those of all other countries. That may have been true in his day, but do you think that is true today?
- Herodotus’s example of what the ancient Greeks and Indians did with the bodies of their dead parents clearly shows that cultures have different customs. But does that make the case for ethical relativism? Why or why not?
