Throughout the term we have looked at a number of new forms of work and have considered the way in which they are all connected through the global political economy.
For the final paper you should home in on a particular work form specific to our current world of work (creative labour, artisanal/craft labour, service work, etc.) and explore it in more depth by either writing 1) a theoretically informed paper guided by various conceptual and theoretical approaches that have been mobilized to understand this form of work, or 2) an applied case study paper where you apply the theories we have discussed in class to a specific working environment or industry. Further details and guidelines for this assignment will be provided in week 6.
