Select a real or hypothetical organization (you may want to use the same organization that you used for the Week 1 assignment) and design a decision tree or matrix for project selection that includes at least three quantitative decisions and three qualitative decisions that should be made as a part of deciding whether to launch a project.  Include decisions related to legal considerations, ethics, and social responsibility.  Prepare your decision tree or matrix in PowerPoint or Excel.  Examples of decisions that may be included in your decision tree or matrix are (a) Does the project align with the strategic vision of the organization? (b) Is the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for the project greater than, equal to, or less than the target IRR for projects in the organization? (c) For three major risks that are known for the project is the average Risk Priority Number (calculated by rating likelihood of risk event from 1-10, rating impact of risk event should it play out from 1-10, and then multiplying the likelihood rating by the impact rating) less than or equal to 500?, (d) Has the organization ever done this type of project before?
