Learners are required to identify a problem/situation in their work environment that requires improvement in terms of any of the aspects discussed during the Productivity, Continuous Improvement and Basic Work Study module. Solving the problem or improving the situation must ultimately lead to increased productivity, an improved working environment, worker satisfaction, reduced costs (internal and external) and/or improved customer satisfaction. Learners will need to, by means of research, investigation and interviews, collect the relevant information before applying the theory covered in this module to the situation being investigated.
