What efforts should man make to maintain wild animal populations? There have been two species in this country that have prompted great debate: the wolf and the grizzly, species whose numbers were greatly diminished in the twentieth century. The debate over the re-population of the wolf in the lower forty-eight states continues, as does the debate over experimental programs to restore the grizzly population in some areas in the western mountain states. Based on research, take a position (for or against) on the issue and defend it.
