Professional Custom Accounting Papers: Curriculum Ideologies Evolution (describe or predict how these ideologies might change over time. What would be the purpose of an evolving curriculum ideology?)This individual paper should be between five to seven page (double-spaced) and must address the curriculum ideologies you respond too (note: specifically refer to Schiro for these curriculum ideologies). What ideas frame and inform your beliefs about curriculum and instruction? If you were to describe the practice of teaching, what would students be learning about (not necessarily how so much)? Where do these beliefs about “what students should learn and why” come from within your personal experience and worldview? If you believe in a scholar academic position with respect to assessment, where did this belief come from? What experiences as a student can you tie this back to? Why might you NOT believe or subscribe to other ideologies? Describe the roots of these ideas to include the key figures associated with these ideas (this is important so that you can back up your beliefs with evidence and theory). How did your position on curriculum and instruction (across and within the four ideologies) evolve over time as a student in K-12, undergraduate and graduate school? Conclude this paper with a discussion about the ways in which your curriculum position is evident in the work that you do. Use your Curriculum Inventory chart to help build the foundation of your paper. You will have a rubric for this paper to follow.
There will be three sections to your paper:
1. Overview of your Curriculum Ideology Chart/Graph (what were the overarching ideologies you aligned with, give an outline for what you’ll address in the paper).
2. Curriculum Ideologies and Personal Experiences (contextualize the specifics of your graph and tell me what you believe about curriculum and instruction with respect to what/why/how children should learn what they learn in school)
3. Curriculum Ideologies Evolution (describe or predict how these ideologies might change over time. What would be the purpose of an evolving curriculum ideology?)
