The report MUST be comprehensive MUST highlight and detail ALL the expected
characteristics of the task, alongside the justification for them in the context of
the United Arab Emirates and the visiting crowd.
For example, when investigating the many crowd characteristics put forward by
Berlonghi (1995), you would chose and justify only those characteristics you feel would
be evident at the game. Similarly, with crowd behaviour theories, choose only those you
feel would apply in the context of the setting of the game.
As this is also a practical exercise, you are required to visit the stadium and
provide evidence that supports aspects of your project task
Task
As a result of lessons learnt in crowd science and public safety management in other
countries, you have been assigned by the Abu Dhabi government to provide a report

planning the Arabian Gulf Super Cup football match to be held at the Mohammed Bin
