Dear Beautiful People,

This assignment is much more than a requirement. It represents a great opportunity for your learning journey. Because we are 100% focused on business law, and our course theme is built on business opportunities for business students; I decided to use a case that will also introduce you to very important practical contents, which will empower you. Instead of assigning you the traditional minutes of a court case, we will use the analysis of a case made publicly available by the law school at Cornell University. Here is the link to the case analysis that you will use to answer the five case brief questions: https://www.law.cornell.edu/copyright/cases/86_F3d_1447.htm And, if you misplace your handout with the sample of how to answer those five questions, here is the link to the online document: http://www.cengage.com/resource_uploads/downloads/0324595743_156000.pdf Much more than learning opportunities of practicing to write a simple case brief like you were given in the classroom (a rubric is attached to this document as well), the analysis walks you through relevant court decisions that impacted how the court ruled. It is like mini journeys within the master learning journey itself. What I mean is that you can choose to learn as much as you wish, even though you are not required to do more than just answering the five case brief questions you are being presented with a free trip to EIL (exotic island of learning). Anyway, I know many of you will try to find the answers just by searching online. If you are one of those students that for whatever reason choose that route, at least make sure you understand the process, and how the questions were answered. More than an opportunity to learn, college time is a safe environment to be super bold and limitless with regards to stretching your creative powers beyond one’s imagination, since you can crash and burn without fear of risking your income, losing clients-projects…So, do more for YOURSELF always, regardless of who and what is being asked of you, because YOU are more important, and YOU come first.

Wishing you an empowering trip,

Love n Cheers! Gus
