Write a good old-fashioned research paper on the topic of “My Favorite Ethical Leader.” Choose a person who in your opinion is the best example of an ethical leader. You are free to choose anybody you like, just as long as the person is associated with an organization (i.e. corporate, governmental, education, non-profit). Your research needs to be focused in the following three areas: 1. Why is it important for leaders to demonstrate ethical conduct? And how did this person do so? 2. What impact can a leader’s position on ethics have on the culture of an organization? And what impact did this person have? 3. What is the relationship between the character and actions of this person and that of your own character, actions, and overall worldview? (Basically, why did you choose this person as representing the ideal ethical leader?) Paper needs to be a minimum of 4 pages (using a 12-point font and 1.5 spacing). You are free to utilize one of following three research style formats: MLA, APA, Chicago. It is very important that you strongly adhere to ONE style (no mixing of styles); this especially refers to use of citations, “Works Cited” (or “References”) page, and overall manuscript format (i.e. margins, the use of a title page [APA uses one, MLA does not] etc.).
