1. Topic
Evaluate a trade theory or a trade policy using real-world data collected by yourself.
2. Content and Format
Ensure you use relevant quantitative evidence and correctly represent statistical data in order to show relationships between theory and the real-world example(s) chosen for the topic.
All data analysis must be original. That is, you must collect data yourself and analyse the data and produce results (figures or tables) using statistical packages (EXCEL, SPSS, EViews, Stata etc.). Figures or tables copied directly or edited from any existing sources are NOT acceptable.
A minimum of 10 references should be used and listed. Data sources should also be referenced. Consult the faculty referencing guide for directions on how to properly reference. The length of the essay should not exceed 1,500 words.
3. Assessment Strategy
Your submitted essay will be assessed and count 50% towards the module marks.
