Gothic Style of Cathedral Architecture

Welcome to the Week 6 DT class!   Now that we are at the mid-point of this term, it is time that I let you start developing your skills at reading the questions and creating an outline.  But, we will wait another 2 or 3 weeks before making you do it all on your own.  My instructions this week will be very brief.

You have 3 issues to address… 1) identify  the key functions of stained glass windows in Medieval architecture, 2) identify two (2) differences between Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals, discuss which type of structure you prefer, and say why you prefer those aspects, 3)  identify one (1) Romanesque or Gothic structure near where you live, and explain the features that support your identification.  Note the highlighted verbs for each issue.  These are the clues to how you should begin thinking about your response and how you will design and develop it.
