HeLa cells were treated with a new experimental drug (thought to inhibit BCL-2) to rule out any potential cytotoxic effects. Cells were exposed to the drug for 24 hours prior to harvesting (B) or a vehicle control (A). The cells were then harvested and stained with Annexin V – FITC and propidium iodide (PI) before analysis by flow cytometry. Fluorescence due to FITC is measured by the FL1-H channel and fluorescence due to PI is measured by the FL3-H channel. (Refer to Screen Shot 2018-07-20 at 7.51.50 AM)
