Nurses also get to work with people from other cultures backgrounds which can definitely make a big impact on team performance. The biggest problem in this case will be language barrier which can definitely reduce the effectiveness of communication between team members. I will like to add to the discussion that I am from a different cultural background and do I agree that language barrier can make a big impact on team performance. Several times during my career I had to experience how some team members encounter a hard time trying to understand what I said because of my hard accent.
