Day One: Thursday December 14th
Mrs. Bergsma will show you print sources and show you how to find reliable web articles.
Using the guidelines given to you by Mrs. Bergsma gave you, you are to search for articles on assisted suicide. You must find two (2) pro assisted suicide and two (2) anti or against assisted suicide. These articles must be three (3) to five (5) pages long. You may use both print and web sources.
Day Two: Friday December 15th
Once you have found your articles; you must print them off and begin making your annotated notes.
Day three and four- Monday December 18th & Tuesday December 19th.
Continue annotating your articles and work on organizing your findings in a PRO/CON T-chart.

Assignment:
a. Two annotated articles from reliable sources which are pro assisted suicide; these may be web or print articles. Paraphrased notes of these two articles — remember you need to provide some detail so that you could write a report based on the notes from your articles. The aim of annotating and taking notes is to show your thinking and make rereading the articles unnecessary.
b. Two annotated articles from reliable sources which are against assisted suicide; these may be web or print articles. Paraphrased notes of these two articles.
You may also want to do a pro/con t-chart to organize your findings. This can act as your paraphrased notes. Make sure you are not copying and pasting or including direct quotations. The whole purpose to this assignment is to annotate and paraphrase.
