The Macro Environment: How the five general elements in the external environment are currently influencing the strategic decisions of your chosen business.
The Competitive Environment: How the five competitive forces that shape strategy are currently shaping the strategy of your chosen business.
The Organizational Environment: How the relevant forces inside the boundaries of your chosen business, including its’ managers, employees, resources, and organizational culture, are being leveraged to overcome challenges in the external environment.
B. Based on your understanding of the current performance of your chosen business (the as is), and the knowledge you have gained from your research, you are expected to reasonably describe the “to be” of your chosen business over the next 3-5 years.
