Two page essay double space- analyzing the idea of agency (what did x do to y, and how did Y react?) in only one case social relations in US history before 1877, white-black relations. The essay must also show how past events influence present interactions between the social group you elected to analyze. This essay should have a introduction, a body, and conclusion. In the introduction tell the reader what your argument is, and how you are going to support it. In the body you will demonstrate your argument in paragraphs and in a balanced manner (3 or 4 paragraphs a page).
