1. From the 16^th to the 19^th centuries, the trade in human beings from Africa across the Atlantic Ocean (i.e. The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade) emerged as the most dominant global economic activity. Discuss its main causes and impacts on African societies. You also need to highlight how the Slave Trade contributed to the process of Globalization. Use examples from the documentary ‘Prince among Slaves’.
